Where is DESARDI® manufactured?

DESARDI® is made in Europe.

How many textures are available?

More than 15 different textures are available. Choose yours.

What kind of wallpaper paste do I use?

Always use a suitable PVA dispersion adhesive for the type of wallpaper you use.

How smooth does my wall need to be?

Smooth walls are recommended. Try to avoid dusty, humid, dirty, oxidized or heavily textured walls. This will influence the project outcome.

Can DESARDI® be used outdoor?

DESARDI® Tex 350g Non-woven wallcovering and Walltex can be used for short to medium term in humid and covered outdoor spaces, a dedicated water resistant adhesive is recommended in this application.

Can I print DESARDI® with any type of inkjet printer?

Most of our printable wallpapers are compatible with the latest technology of large-format inkjet printers. Compatible with Latex, (Eco)Solvent and UV cure inks.

What is FSC® ?

FSC stands for FSC – Forest Stewardship Council. The FSC Mix label means the wood within the product is from FSC-certified material, recycled material, or controlled wood.

What is Bio-Pruf®?

Bio-Pruf® is an additive which can be incorporated within vinyl wallcovering during the manufacturing process. It can eliminate the growth of micro-organisms from the surface of the wallcovering and additionally, protect from fungal and bacterial growth.

Where is Bio-Pruf® most beneficial?

Any healthcare environment can benefit from Bio-Pruf®. Besides offering resistance to the growth of bacteria, it can also help eliminate known ‘superbugs’ such as MRSA (Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus) which can present serious health risks.

How can a Bio-Pruf® treated wallcovering assist the client?

Any healthcare environment, laboratory areas in Universities etc. will have a basic requirement to protect and guard against unwanted infections. This is especially critical in hospitals where eliminating bacteria is a priority. Bio-Pruf® will ensure that the bacteria cannot settle on the surface of the wallcovering and therefore remove potential health hazards.

Most hospitals nowadays employ an Infection Control Officer (part of the hospital’s Estates Department) and Bio-Pruf® is therefore an ideal tool when targeting this type of customer.

When does Bio-Pruf® stop working?

Never, BioPruf® is an inherent part of the vinyl composition and will remain active for the entire lifespan of the wallcovering.
